Massapequa High School graduate Andrew Kromholz has been selected to play at the Governor's Mansion on Jan. 1

He is part of a four-man chamber group. There will also be a jazz pianist. Three of the five teens who will be performing are from Long Island.

Kromholz has been playing his cello for about nine or so years. He has performed for the New York Junior Chamber Symphony and also the C.W. Post Music Festival every summer for the past four years.

Kromholz is currently a sophomore at Crane's School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.
