Massapequa native Craig Harris has been appointed alumni relations director at Hilbert College, Hamburg, NY.

As alumni relations director, Harris is responsible for developing and supervising programs to keep Hilbert alumni connected to the college.

Harris comes to Hilbert from Long Island University's C.W. Post Campus where he was director of student life and leadership education.

Before C.W. Post, he was associate director of co-curricular programming and education at St. Lawrence University.

Harris has received several honors, including the C.W. Post Association for Campus Programming Appreciation Award and the Provost's Certificate of Recognition for Exemplary Service.

He has a master's degree in student personnel administration from Buffalo State College and a bachelor's degree in communications from SUNY Fredonia. Harris will reside in Lake View.
