Freshman goalie Courtney Dowell of Massapequa was a member of the 2006 Ithaca College field hockey team. The bombers won the Empire 8 Championship with a 4-2 conference record and finished 6-10 overall.

Dowell appeared in three games for Ithaca this past season recording 12 saves in 90:59 and posted a 1.54 goals against average.
