I would like to thank the residents of the Eighth Senatorial District for re-electing me to the New York State Senate.

Having the opportunity to represent our community in the New York State Senate is an honor and a privilege that I hold in very high regard. I am grateful for the trust and support given to me by the voters.

As the 2007 legislative session begins, I look forward to continuing to deliver property tax relief, more aid for our local schools and municipalities, and stronger laws to protect the health and safety of our residents.
