Freshman goalie Courtney Dowell of Massapequa is a member of the 2006 Ithaca College field hockey team. The bombers are 4-5 on the season and are in sole possession of first place in the Empire 8 with a 3-1 conference record.

Dowell appeared in her first collegiate game this year for Ithaca against Cortland, registering two saves in 21 minutes.
