Joan Scandurra Thompson, of Glen Cove, formerly of Massapequa Park, died on Sept. 23, 2006. Wife of the late Arthur and Gaetano. Mother of Joan ((John) Polcari, Barbara (Michael) O'Dea and stepmother of Arthur (Maryann) Thomas Jr. Grandmother of Thomas and Laura. Arrangements were made by the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Funeral Mass celebrated at the Church of St. Patrick. Donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
