Marking its 40th anniversary, Long Island-based Briarcliffe College is celebrating with a brunch and gala for its scholarship fund.
Among other things, the college will pay tribute to board of trustees chairman Peter T. Affatato, of Massapequa Park for his decades of support.
The event will also feature - in support of the Peter T. Affatato Scholarship Fund - a silent auction, for which the business community is encouraged to contribute a gift or gift certificates, along with live music, cocktails and a buffet.
The event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Greens, 1 Altessa Blvd., Melville. Open to all, the 40th anniversary event will have a $50 per seat admission charge.
