This Memorial Ceremony will be held at the Veterans Memorial Garden located at 66 Veterans Blvd. at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23. On hand will be Congressman Peter King, John Venditto, town supervisor and many town officials.

Immediately following this tribute, a semi-formal dinner dance will be held in Memorial Hall at the Post, spearheaded by Past Commander Louis D. Ulino.

Proceeds of this event will be used to maintain the Veterans Memorial Garden and assist our troops in Iraq. Tickets for this gala event are limited and can be obtained by contacting Pat Nugent or Robert Donaldson at 795-7333.

If you would be so inclined to make a financial contribution, no matter how large or small, in support of this program and the members of our Armed Forces, please mail your contribution directly to Massapequa Post No. 1066 at 66 Veterans Blvd., Massapequa, NY 11758.

To those making a contribution of $100, your name will be etched on a bronze plaque that will be displayed in the Memorial Garden. All checks are to be made payable to the Veterans Memorial Garden fund and mailed to the Post to the attention of Past Commander Louis D. Ulino, memorial chairman.
