Junior Jillian Duffy of Massapequa, a member of the Muhlenberg College field hockey team needed only four games to match her career high of three goals in a season.

Duffy scored twice, once in each half, to account for all the scoring in the Mules' season-opening 2-0 win against local rival Moravian.

Her third goal provided insurance in the second half of a 2-0 defeat of Oneonta State. Duffy also recorded an assist in a 4-0 victory against DeSales.

Duffy ranks second among active Muhlenberg players with career totals of nine goals and 23 points.

The Mules are 3-1 to start the 2006 season. Muhlenberg is located in Allentown, PA.
