On Sept. 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed by 39 brave men who changed the course of history.

Today, Constitution Day is a time for Americans to continue their legacy and develop habits of citizenship in a new generation.

The Farmingdale State Constitution Day Program will feature Suffolk County Legislators, Vivian Viloria-Fisher and Wayne Horsley.

The event will take place Thursday, Sept. 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Roosevelt Hall Little Theatre at Farmingdale State University. It is free and open to the public.
