Richard Schary, president of the Friends of the Massapequa Preserve, will present a short film on the preserve at the September meeting of the Massapequa Park Garden Club.

Mr. Schary and his wife, Lisa, will also explain the things their group does at the preserve. These activities range from leading nature hikes to keeping the area clean. A question and answer period will follow their talk.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the basement meeting room at Village Hall, 151 Front Street, Massapequa Park. Dessert and coffee will be served. The public is welcome to attend.
