On Sunday, Aug. 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Assemblyman Joseph Saladino's first annual Family Fishing Fun and Marine Recreation Expo at the Jones Beach Boat Basin and the Theodore Roosevelt Nature Center will take place. This is a chance for families to participate in some of Long Island's greatest traditions at Jones Beach: Snapper fishing, marine sports, fly fishing, lure making, boating, kayaking and demonstrations ... a full day of life aquatic.
