The North Massapequa Fire Department, in conjunction with participating local merchants and organization, is hosting its 32nd Annual Children's Rag-A-Muffin Costume parade on Sunday, Oct. 29. The parade will start at noon and there will be no rain date. All children who participate must be registered so they will be eligible for free prizes.

Registration will be held on Sunday, Oct. 1 at the Fire Department Booth at the Italian Feast, Friday, Oct. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. during Fire Prevention Open House at Fire Department Headquarters and Sunday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire House Department Headquarters, located at 1000 North Broadway. Late registration will take place at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29 at the start of the parade, North Nassau Avenue and North Broadway.
