After spending several months researching their topics and working with their classmates and teachers, an impressive number of students from Berner Middle School, Ames Campus, and Massapequa High School qualified to compete in the highly competitive New York State National History Day Competition held on May 5 in Cooperstown, NY.

NYIT Hall of Fame Banquet June 15
New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) will honor its largest number of inductees at its eighth annual Athletics Hall of Fame awards banquet on Thursday, June 15, at 6 p.m., at Chateau Briand in Carle Place. Bill DaCosta, a baseball star from Massapequa, will be among those honored by the institute.
