AL FELDSTEIN

After 49 years in education, Mr. Al Feldstein, a sixth-grade teacher at Fairfield Elementary School in the Massapequa School District, has announced his retirement as of June.

The Fairfield Elementary School community is planning a tribute to Mr. Feldstein in honor of his service and dedication to the Massapequa community. Residents, parents, and past and present students of Mr. Feldstein are invited to the Fairfield auditorium on Friday, June 9 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. for an evening of celebration as he embarks on the road of retirement.

Sue Miller, coordinator of the tribute, asks that attendees bring their fondest memories of Mr. Feldstein, along with well wishes as he enters this new phase of his life. Anyone interested in sharing can participate in an "open mike" for the first hour of the reception.

Please contact Sue Miller at Fairfield Elementary School for more information at 631-797-6030.
