In 2005, Carol Ann Habeeb-Kiel was named Nassau County Volleyball coach of the year with the Massapequa High School girls varsity volleyball team 2005, and now has added her 18 years of experience to coaching the Massaspequa High School boys varsity team.

The season is a short 19 games and the boys team has already won its first five games.

The captains/seniors Tom Anderle, Ryan Carey, and Dan Kelly along with seniors Paul Caruso, Bobby Plouffe, Justin Breslau, Gene Renda, Nick Kropp, plus juniors Richie Bryson, John Furka, Dan Cardinale, Kyle Elmore, Matt Brust, and sophomore Matt Fink are all looking forward to a successful first season in history.

The Junior Varsity Boys Volleyball team led by Ms. Lindsay Hill is as follows: Sophomores, Paul Caltabiano, Matt Capolongo, Matthew Donohue, Brendan Ripp, Joe Sherlock, Anthony Harris, and freshmen, William Grennan, John Guarascio, Robert Kryger, Tommy Marzec, Patrick Persichetti, and Michael Sierzant.
