Four years have passed since the tragedy on 9/11. Many families with direct links to these events have moved on with their lives while some, (particularly children and adolescents) may still be having difficulty resuming daily activities. Understanding that the healing process is different for everyone, the Pathways September 11 Recovery Program continues to offer a variety of recovery services to the community.

With the knowledge that those charged with saving lives and protecting the public are often the least likely to seek help themselves, the Pathways Program invites rescue and recovery workers who responded on 9/11 and their families, or anyone still feeling effects of 9/11 to take advantage of free and confidential counseling services. YES Community Counseling Center is located at 75 Grand Avenue in Massapequa, one block north of the Massapequa train station. For information, please call 799-3203.

This project is supported by a September 11 recovery grant from the American Red Cross Liberty Disaster Relief Fund.
