The Massapequa Chiefs five-game winning streak came to an end last Saturday, as Uniondale used a fourth-quarter rally to pull ahead and win the game, 28-13.
The Chiefs record is now 5-2 as they get ready for postseason play.
The playoffs start this Sunday, Nov. 6 against Freeport at 1 p.m. at the Massapequa High School football field.
In the Uniondale game, quarterback Stephen Bentz passed for two touchdown passes, one to Mike Perez and the other to Matt Ryan, to keep Massapequa in the game.
At the half, the score was tied, 6-6. Going into the final frame, Massapequa held a slim, 13-12 lead. However, Conte Cuttino ran for two touchdown runs in the fourth quarter to give Uniondale a lead they never relinquished.
