Career Ends on a Winning Note
Colette Carpenter of Massapequa, senior captain of Stonehill College Women's Lacrosse Team, successfully completed her athletic career by winning her second National Championship in Division II Women's Lacrosse in her final collegiate game. Carpenter scored two goals during the championship game helping Stonehill defeat Westchester University 13-10 on May 15. Stonehill Women's lacrosse team experienced a "Perfect Season" in finishing 21-0 overall and will bring a school-record 27-game winning streak into the 2006 campaign.
