State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. recently joined with local veterans as they assembled to commemorate the signing of the surrender papers that ended World War II. Bob Spina, Jr. placed 5th overall (and 1st in his age group) with a time of 1:06:06 at the Town of Hempstead Triathlon in Point Lookout on Sept. 10. Bob, an attorney is also a multi-sport coach with Long Island Tri Coach. At Ironman USA in Lake Placid in July, he qualified for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii and will be competing there in October.
