Anyone running for public office in Nassau County must know that it is illegal to post signs of any kind on utility poles. Nevertheless, Massapequa School Board candidate Christine Lupetin Perrino blanketed Merrick Road utility poles with her "vote for me" signs. It's bad enough that Ms. Lupetin Perrino either chose to ignore or didn't know about this law. Even worse, three days after the election, those signs are all still on the poles.

Ms. Lupetin Perrino, if you choose to run for re-election again, don't break the law. For right now, please clean up after yourself.
