Beth S. Goldberg and Ferdinand Botero.

Artist Beth S. Goldberg is pictured at a reception held Nov. 13 with internationally known artist Ferdinand Botero whose paintings are being shown at the Nassau County Museum in Roslyn. Goldberg's paintings have been on view at the Nassau County Museum Cafe and Museum Shop.

On Dec. 4, Goldberg was awarded the George M. Estabrook Distinguished Service Award for Hofstra Alumni at the presentation dinner, held at the Marriot, in Uniondale.

She is one of 302 recipients who have received this award over the last 65 years out of 112,000 graduates from Hofstra University. Past recipients include: Francis Ford Coppola, Peter Schmitt, Lainie Kazan, Madeline Kahn, Peter Kalikow.
