Friends Walk to Cure Juvenile Diabetes
Matt Durkin of Massapequa Park and Ryan Lindner of Copaigue have been best friends since meeting in kindergarten at St. Martin's School in Amityville. Together, the 12-year-olds play deck hockey at Marjorie Post Park, attend sleepovers at each other's houses, and together they walked to cure juvenile diabetes, a disease that Ryan is all too familiar with.
