Let me ask you this question: As a veteran who served in World War II, Vietnam, Korea or in any conflict of the United States of America, are you aware of the many benefits that you, as a veteran are entitled to? If you are not aware of these benefits, I have some good news for you.

As your public relations officer of this great post, I have arranged to have a guest speaker attend your first membership meeting in November to inform us of all the benefits that are available to us and to answer any and all questions that you may have concerning veterans benefits.

Our speaker for the evening will be Edward Aulman, director of the Nassau County Veterans Service Agency.

This evening will be open to all veterans of our community who, perhaps, are not members of the Post, but would like to attend. If you know of any veteran or veteran organization that may be interested in attending, please invite them down to our post.

Refreshments will be served immediately following this meeting.

I hope to see you all Nov. 1 at 8 p.m.

For God and Country
