The group will use these funds to make DVD and CD-ROM copies of their documentary, Massapequa Preserve - a Natural Wonder in Your Own Backyard, for distribution to local schools and libraries for educational purposes. The 13 and 14-year-old Massapequa Coast Tournament Team won the East Region Junior League Championship and had the honor of playing at the Junior League World Series in Taylor, Michigan Aug. 15-21.
