A procession of Massapequa Park letter carrier vehicles rolled slowly up Park Blvd., through the Village of Massapequa Park, in a recent tribute to letter carrier Kenny Chismar, who died suddenly. The village was Chismar's route. Carrier John Smith led the procession, driving Chismar's LLV (Long Life Vehicle), bedecked with an American flag and two large red carnations in the grille. The carriers sacrificed their lunch break to participate in the tribute, which brought merchants and their customers out onto the street.
