Recently, there have been instances in which some local candidates for office have used photos taken at our organization's public events as part of their political campaign, implying that our group endorses or tacitly approves their candidacy, without our knowledge or authorization. Friends of Massapequa Preserve is a non-partisan environmental advocacy and educational group; we do not endorse any political candidate or party. Our sole purpose is to promote the well-being of the Preserve. We emphatically reject the use or reproduction of our photos or images in any medium as part of any political campaign past, present or future.
