The Nassau Chapter of the Knights of Columbus recently announced new officers for their 2003-2004 fraternal year.

The officers who were elected are: President Marvin "Ray" Dalton; Vice-President Michael T. Murtha, both of Massapequa; Secretary Edward Ciulla of Wantagh; and James Belotti of Freeport.

Named to the Board of Audit are: Stephen Tommony of Floral Park; William McDonald of New Hyde Park; and George Rapperly of Roslyn. Appointed as Warden to the Chapter President, Anthony Ippolito of Valley Stream.

President Dalton has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for 22 years, holding numerous leadership positions. Most recently he served as Nassau Chapter Vice President, following terms as Grand Knight of Our Lady of the Island Council in Massapequa Park and Faithful Navigator of Pope John XXIII 4th Degree Assembly. A resident of Massapequa, Dalton is a salesman and delivery dispatcher for Granado Appliance in Valley Stream. Dalton and his wife Arlene have two adult chidlren, Michelle and Jennifer and enjoy being the proud grandparents of their granddaughter Taylor.
