St. Rose of Lima recently announced the inception of the Venturing Program for boys and girls ages 14-20 years of age. Venturing is the high adventure co-educational program of the Boy Scouts of America.

Youth in the Venturing program will be exposed to such activities as rock climbing, white water rafting, cycling, rifle shooting, equestrian and many more outdoor-related activities. Furthermore, youth have the opportunity to earn awards by utilizing the Venturing program's advancement program.

Furthermore youth in the Venturing program have the option of joining St. Rose of Lima's youth ministry group. St. Rose youth ministry has many programs for kids and young adults. The programs provide trips and retreats, community services, music shows, youth council (for those in high school and college).

Adults who volunteer also have the opportunity to participate in the many activities youth members are involved in. Likewise, adults have the opportunity to earn awards through Venturing adult's training and advancement programs.

The fee to join Venturing is $10 for both youths and adults. Fees for various programs and activities are not included in the $10 registration fee.
