Police Officer/Director Maureen Roach recently announced that due to continuing demand, the Nassau County Police Activity League - Massapequa Unit will hold another late registration for its spring/summer program lineup May 15 and May 17.

Registration for boys baseball (grades K-7) and girls softball (grades K-9) will be held at the Massapequa PAL office located at 510 Parkside Blvd. (northeast corner of the Massapequa train station) May 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. and May 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All registrants will receive a free National Child Protection Identification courtesy of the Nassau County Police Activity League - Massapequa Unit while supplies last. The registration fee is $60 with discounts available for multiple enrollments in the same family. Each registrant will receive a full uniform and participation award at the season's end.

Massapequa PAL will also be holding separate registration for the summer bowling, tennis and Karate programs.

PAL bowling has a variety of summer programs for all ages and abilities. To register for PAL bowling please call Lou Anthony at Massapequa Bowl at 541-8000.

To register for the Karate program, please cal the PAL Karate office at 971-8835. The cost is only $50 for the 10 lesson program.

PAL offers a tennis instructional program which includes six one-hour lessons for either beginning or advanced tennis players. The cost is only $80 per person. To register call Dave Brenner at 409-4414.
