Members from the Accounting staff at the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc. in Roosevelt were quick to lend a hand when they learned that their co-worker, Chris Whooley's brother, Mike Whooley, an East Meadow native and a U.S. Marine, is serving in Iraq. The group put together a care package filled with sunscreen, soap, snacks and mini footballs. The package also included some American flags that were handmade by the children with disabilities who attend the Children's Learning Center at UCP Nassau. The group said they plan to stay in touch to lend support to Mike and all the other brave and dedicated troops serving our country.
