Suozzi: Nassau Is Ready in the Event of a Terrorist Attack
Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi was joined last Friday by Nassau County Legislator Joseph Scannell (D-Baldwin), Police Department 1st Deputy Commissioner Robert Bishop, Fire Marshall Thomas Tilley Health Department Commissioner David Ackman and Director of Emergency Management Richard Rotanz to announce Nassau's preparation in response to the upgraded National Terror Alert.

National Karate Tournament Coming to Massapequa
The American Black Belt Academy, along with the Worldwide Kenpo Karate Association, will host The American Karate Championships 2003, March 8 and 9. The tournament will be held at Massapequa High School and is open to spectators of the community. Competitors from throughout the country will be showing their Karate expertise.
