A request for a special use permit to operate a restaurant in Massapequa will be the subject of a Jan. 7 public hearing by the Oyster Bay Town Board, according to Town Councilman Joe Muscarella.

"The applicants, RJLL Corporation and 217 State-Massapequa, are seeking a special use permit to operate a Ciao Baby restaurant with an occupancy of 152 on premises located at the southeast intersection of Sunrise Highway and Block Boulevard, with a street address of 50-70 Sunrise Highway," Muscarella stated. "The property is located in an "NB" neighborhood business district.

The hearing will be held in the hearing room of Town Hall North, 54 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay. Beginning at 10 a.m. Following the regular town business, the town board will be available to listen to public comment on any subject.
