    On September 11, 2001, Captain Kathy Mazza Delosh of the Port Authority Police rushed into the World Trade Center with fellow officers, shot out a floor-to-ceiling glass wall with her service revolver on the mezzanine level of Tower One, and evacuated hundreds of people. She was the first female Port Authority Police Officer to die in the line of duty. FULL STORY
