Eleanor Kay, formerly of Massapequa Park, died on April 5, five days after her younger sister, Carol of the Bronx. She died at Daytona Beach where she retired with her husband George. Family members were with her. George and Eleanor moved to the Park in 1955 and had six children, where they were active in church and community affairs and sporting events for their children until they retired to Daytona in the late '80s. Eleanor is survived by her husband of over 50 years; children, Steven of New Mexico, Jim and Rob of Maui, HI, Kathleen of Boston, Tom of North Carolina and Patti of Lindenhurst. Aloha nui loa - until we meet again! Raymond J. Whelan, of Massapequa, died on March 29, 2002. Husband of Antoinette M. Father and father-in-law of Raymond J. and Jonanne. Brother of James and the late Duncan, Dorothy, Ruth Davis and Kenneth. Grandfather of R.J. Uncle of many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Arrangements were made by the Powell Funeral Home, Amityville. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Interment Trinity Cemetery. Salvatore Cirrone, 76, of N. Massapequa, died on March 30, 2002. Husband of the late Marie. Father of Joseph, Jon, Janet Cirrone, Janine D'Antonio and Joanne Holub. Brother of Ignatius and Josephine Cirrone. Grandfather of five. Arrangements were made by Moloney's Hauppauge Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Thomas More RC Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
