The Pequa Pride will be starting its first season in the Long Island Stan Musial Baseball Leagues Open Division for serious players 18 years old and up. The 30-game season will start play May 18 and run through July 23 with double-headers on Sundays and one or two night games per week. There will be a qualifying tournament at the end of the season with the top three teams advancing to the NABF World Series in early August.

The league is composed of current and former college players, as well as former high school stars from Nassau and Queens Counties.

The Pride is currently seeking experienced pitchers and position players to round out its roster. The Pride will be holding workouts on Sundays April 21, 28 and May 5. Roster fee per player is $250.
