Jacob George Zachman, of Wesley Chapel, FL, died on March 14, 2002. Born in Brooklyn, he moved to Wesley Chapel in 2000 from Massapequa. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and a retired ornamental iron worker of Local 580, former volunteer fireman in Valley Stream and a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Wesley Chapel. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; his children, Thomas Jacob Zachman and Laura Zachman and his brother, Edward Zachman, all of Farmingdale. Grandfather of Alison, Katherine, Gregory, Thomas, Ryan, Julia, Alex and Amanda. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Service at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Pak. Donations in Jacob's memory can be sent to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Farmingdale, or the Valley Stream Volunteer Fire Dept.
