Massapequa Park Village Holds the Line on Taxes
In preparation for the budget hearing April 8, Massapequa Park Village Mayor James Altadonna took some time at the recent Installation -Organization meeting to disclose some vital information about the 2002 budget, including the fact that there will be no tax increase for the upcoming year.

In front of a village hall packed with friends, family and residents, recently elected trustees Jeffrey Pravato and Teresa Spinosa, as well as other village officials and staff, were administered the oath of office at the Incorporated Village of Massapequa Park's Annual Installation-Organization Meeting April 1.

Pequa Pride to Begin Season
The Pequa Pride will be starting its first season in the Long Island Stan Musial Baseball Leagues Open Division for serious players 18 years old and up. The 30-game season will start play May 18 and run through July 23 with double-headers on Sundays and one or two night games per week. There will be a qualifying tournament at the end of the season with the top three teams advancing to the NABF World Series in early August.
