Opinion

There is no doubt that our resolve to destroy the terrorists that attacked our nation on 9/11 must remain our objective until we are successful. I firmly believe our way of life depends on our ability to eliminate this demonic presence.

I cannot side with people who have not supported our present anti-terrorist policies. However, I do not agree with those of us who attack them because they don't like the convictions they advocate.

Our anger and resolve must never sway from the perpetrators of terror.

Although some of our precious liberties may be temporarily abridged during these tumultuous times, our freedom to voice our opinions must never be diminished.

In doing what is necessary to eradicate this danger to our nation, we must be careful not to become the barbarians.

The opinions of a few can only change the viewpoint of the majority if they are eventually accepted as an alternative.

If our determination remains the elimination of terrorists, we must continue with our present policy.
