Vivien Konsel, of Massapequa, died on Jan. 23, 2002. She was born in Czechoslovakia on Nov. 20, 1901 and came to America when she was eight years old. She was a designer for a Manhattan fashion house for over 40 years. She was active in the senior community and was a volunteer to handicapped children.
