The Greater Long Island Running Club will be hosting a special clinic on "Training for the Canon Long Island Half Marathon," on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library, 999 Old Country Road in Plainview, starting at 8 p.m. Admission is free and everyone is cordially invited to attend.

The clinic will be chaired by Ed Melnik, the coach of the club's men's and women's racing teams and will be geared especially for novice half marathoners and for those who would like to improve their performances in this year's race.
