The competition was fierce this holiday season as residents of the Village of Massapequa Park decked their homes in hopes of winning the annual Holiday Decorating Contest. Judges Joe Amorin, Denise Cavalieri, Bob Duffy, Jim Burns, Jeanne Burns, Theresa Spinosa, and Jeff Pravato worked long and hard to come up with the winners.

"This is a wonderful yearly event," said Mayor James Altadonna. "There are many beautifully decorated houses within the village. I would like to commend the residents for their patriotism, which seemed to be the favored decorating theme this year, as well as all the other lovely displays of the season. I feel we are all very fortunate to live in the Village of Massapequa Park."
