Massapequa resident Matthew Dellasperanza came in second in this year's Oyster Festival Oyster Eating Contest. Three people who signed up for the event didn't show and Dellasperanza squeaked in at the last minute. He brought along some friends and supporters to cheer him on throughout the contest. The winner of the contest, Mike Chodkowski of Hicksville, ate 120 oysters. Matt ate 88: the last place contestant came in with 24 eaten. FULL STORY
