    The Parent-Teachers Association of the Raymond J. Lockhart Elementary School, together with the faculty, staff and the Massapequa School District have taken on the task of creating an "Outdoor Classroom" that students can use for scientific study in a natural setting. FULL STORY

    The Nassau County Girls Lacrosse Association held its Annual Award Dinner at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury June 11. Five Massapequa High School lacrosse players were honored, including Colette Carpenter, All County; Tiffany Smith, All Conference; Jenna Martone, All Conference; Tricia Cowley, Unsung Hero; and Janine Reinhardt, Scholar Athlete.
