Kevin Dooley, Brian Nelson and Kevin Vosilla, 8th grade students in the Massapequa School District, have qualified to go to Orlando, Florida to represent the Metropolitan New York area in the boys 14 and under division at the AAU National Basketball Tournament June 27 through July 4.

These young athletes play for the Allstars basketball program, a group of boys 14 years of age and younger who have been together for only two years. In that short period of time, the Allstars will be going to their second consecutive national tournament.

Coach/Organizer "Sly" Johnson said that the contributions made by these young men have helped the team to reach its highest point to date. They also play for the St. Rose CYO program.

The ALLSTARS will begin their fundraising efforts to pay for sneakers, airfare and accommodations immediately. Contributions will be greatly appreciated. Call 769-0178 or visit the team's web site www.eteamz.com/manallstars.

Please send contributions to: Manhasset Allstars Basketball Program, 14 South Cherrybrook Place, Great Neck, New York, 11020.
