10th Annual St. Patrick's Parade This Sunday
The 10th Annual Bethpage St. Patrick's Parade will be held this Sunday, March 4, in downtown Bethpage, and members of surrounding communities are being cordially invited to attend. The procession will feature the Tara Pipes & Drums of Massapequa, Amityville Highland Pipe Band, New York Fire Department Emerald Society Band, Suffolk County Police Emerald Society Band, Saffron Kilts Pipe Band, IBEW Division 25 Pipe Band, and Bethpage High School Marching Band.

Columbus Lodge Softball Winter Meeting Held Feb. 22
The Sons of Italy-Columbus Lodge #2143 softball committee ("the Committee") held its winter meeting at the Lodge's headquarters located at 2143 Boundary Avenue in South Farmingdale. The Committee confirmed the Golden Lions softball team will be participating in the Nassau Conference Men's League this summer and will continue to participate in charity softball events.

Hike Through the Preserve Set for This Sunday
Friends of Massapequa Preserve invites all community members to a guided hike in the preserve this Sunday, March 4, at 12 noon. The hike will be a moderately-paced, three-to-four mile walk along the Greenbelt Trail, run jointly with the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference, for about one and a half hours. Hikers will meet at Mansfield Park on Walker Street, located 5 blocks south of Linden Street, 1 block west of Lake Shore Drive.
