The South Shore Indians Baseball organization is looking for a few good baseball players and will be conducting an open tryout for its spring/summer travel teams to find them.

The players who make the teams will be playing in the FABL and Connie Mack leagues. The season starts the first week in June and runs through the first week in August. There will be a total of about 30 plus games. This is including a game on Doubleday Field in Cooperstown in July as well as a tournament or two.

Tryouts will start the weekend of March 25/26and also on April 2 and 9. Further information can be obtained by calling the following:

13- and 14-year-old players should call Ike at 785-2677.

15- and 16-year-old players should call Pete at 826-9237.

17- and 18-year-old players should call Tom at 221-5313.

The ages are as of Aug. 1.
