Elisa Pomeranz of Massapequa Park is a member of the 2000 Ithaca College women's lacrosse team, the college announced recently. The Bombers are led by fourth-year head coach Piep Van Heuven and are ranked 14 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Pre-season Division III poll.

Pomeranz, a sophomore midfielder, played in 11 games last season for the Bombers, including one start. She scored three goals and had one assist.

Last season Ithaca finished 10-7 and made their fourth consecutive postseason appearance. The Bombers began their season in St. Petersburg, FL, facing Kenyon on Wednesday, March 8, and the Scotland National Team on Thursday, March 9.
