Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the Plainedge Soccer Club Charity Indoor Soccer Tournament raised in excess of $2,000 worth of new toys that went directly to the children at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
With holiday music playing throughout the halls of Plainedge High School and Packard Middle School the children of 39 soccer teams from all over Long Island played soccer for the children at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
The competition was wonderful and many of the divisions finished in a tie. The results for each division are as follows:

Plainedge Soccer Club would like to thank all the board members, Bell Atlantic Pioneers, the families of all the players of the Plainedge teams that volunteered, the Maria Regina Confirmation Class of 2000, Plainedge School District and all those members of Plainedge Soccer Club that volunteered but have not been mentioned in the above organization.
"It has been a wonderful experience working for charity this time of year. As the tournament director, I hope that the level of participation with regard to volunteering, will continue throughout the year. All of those who volunteered made this an extremely successful event," noted Rich Mallow, charity tournament director.
