Teams from Farmingdale High School and Howitt Middle School were out in force close out the Long Island cross country season in style at Rob's Run, a 5 Kilometer Cross Country race held at the Town of Oyster Bay's Stillwell Woods Park in Syosset on Nov. 28. The Girls Tennis team won the Conference IV Championship by defeating Wantagh 4-3. Coach Mike Pavlides explained that the girls did a tremendous job this year, posting a 21-2 record. He is especially proud of the team, which has rebounded from the past two seasons in which they had not won a match. Senior Jaclyn Fiore led the squad with an undefeated 12-0 record. FULL STORY
